Twice this year – first in June and again in November – the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) received a remarkable donation from Ms Marija Orač, a long-time Croatian art and historical document collector living in Luxembourg. Her generous gift enriches both the Library’s Map Collection and Print Collection.

Ms Orač, who has spent decades promoting Croatian culture abroad, has donated a selection of rare maps, valuable prints, and unique pieces of ephemera. These items will continue to bring insights into Croatian artistic and historical heritage to the users of NSK.
