The National Library of Greece (NLG) presents the digital exhibition following the thread of life and human activity, through its digital exhibitions’ webpage. Enriched with material from the NLG archival collections, the digital exhibition aims at further promoting and making use of the permanent exhibition housed on the NLG ground floor, at the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Foundation (SNCF).

The permanent exhibition was created in 2022 by MONUMENTA, in collaboration with the NLG and SNCF, with the support of the Piraeus and Islands Ephorate of Antiquities and through a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). For the creation of the exhibition, the archives preserved by the collector Giannis Lambrou were a valuable source, such as the archive of the company Ergoliptiki S.A., which constructed the Hippodrome during the Interwar period.
