The National Library of Greece celebrated the 2022 World Book Day by carrying out a series of educational workshops on Saturday 16/04 and Sunday 17/04/2022 at its premises at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. Children took part in three different workshops, according to their age group, and got in touch with the art of bookbinding, its materials and techniques. The highlight activity was the creation of an oversized (50cmx70cm), 400-hundred-paged book aimed to be used for creative writing and expression as well as a guest book. The National Library of Greece realized all three workshops in collaboration with the bookbinding studio Bibliodeteio.gr.
