The National Library of Wales (Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru), located in Aberystwyth, is one of Europe’s leading research libraries and the memory of a nation.

Established by Royal Charter in 1907, it collects, preserves and provides access to the documentary, literary, artistic and audiovisual heritage of Wales, while also serving as a legal deposit library for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
