Members of the Board of Directors and members of the Executive Committee of the Consortium of European Research Libraries (CERL) and their partners, visited the National Library of Greece (NLG) on 22 April 2026. A tour of the Library’s premises at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center was conducted, with a particular focus on the Special Collections material. The presence of the CERL Members in Athens took place on the occasion of the centenary conference of the Gennadius Library (American School of Classical Studies at Athens).

The visit of the CERL representatives to the NLG falls within the framework of the National Library of Greece joining the CERL community.
