Inauguration of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the birth of Zbigniew Herbert

National Library secures funds under European Union FEnIKS programme.

Thirteen Polish projects worth almost PLN 470 million in total have secured funding under the first round of applications to the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 programme, known by its abbreviation FEnIKS.

Language events at the National Library of Scotland

The National Library of Scotland is proud to support our indigenous languages such as Gaelic and Scots. February saw a focus on Scots and Gaelic languages in our events programme, with well-known champions of the two languages taking part in events to sellout audiences at the Library.

The manuscripts of André Breton freely accessible on Gallica

In partnership with the Association Atelier André Breton, and thanks to the exceptional generosity of Aube Elléouët-Breton, the poet’s daughter, the BnF will be making available on Gallica all the André Breton manuscripts in its collections from 20 February onwards.

Exhibition “France through their Eyes – 200 photographers’ perspectives on the 2020s”

The Bibliothèque nationale de France is presenting a major exhibition showcasing the work of 200 photographers, regular contributors to the national and international press, who were commissioned by the Ministry of Culture in 2021 to provide a panorama of France in the aftermath of the health crisis linked to the COVID-19 pandemic.
