AI Project wins Best Paper Award

The German National Library congratulates Lisa Kluge and Maximilian Kähler, two of its staff members, who won a Best Paper Award for their participation in the LLMs4Subjects Shared Task, organised by the Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology (TIB).

The publication “DNB-AI-Project at SemEval-2025 Task 5: An LLM-Ensemble Approach for Automated Subject Indexing,” which was created as part of German National Library’s AI project, was named the best paper among all submissions for the shared task.

A total of 15 international teams from countries including Finland, Estonia, Germany, Italy, China and Iran participated in the first round of LLMs4Subjects.
