The memory of the outstanding librarian Mykhailo Semenovych Slobodyanyk

The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine is organizing the Sixth Library Studies dedicated to the memory of Professor Mykhailo Semenovych Slobodyanyk on the topic “Library Science of Ukraine: History, Methodology, Research Projects”, which will take place on December 16, 2020 and this time through a pandemic. online format. Together with the NBUV, the National Library of Ukraine named after Yaroslav the Wise, Kyiv University named after Borys Hrinchenko, and the National Academy of Management of Culture and Arts also joined the event.

The purpose of the scientific-communicative event is to discuss by leading scholars and authoritative practices of the domestic information and library sphere such issues as the main historical milestones and main directions of development of the methodology of domestic library science, relevance of scientific ideas of prominent Ukrainian librarian MS Slobodyanyk in modern library. practice.

Applications for participation in the event are accepted subject to the submission of an abstract (600 characters) or presentation of the report until December 14, 2020 to the e-mail kiral@ukr.net . Applications submitted after this date will not be considered. In the abstract (presentation) it is necessary to provide the name, brief information about the author: surname, name, patronymic, place of work or study, position, scientific degree, academic title, e-mail address, telephone number.
