Between 2023 and 2024, the Slovak National Library implemented a quality management system through the CAF model. In November 2024, it was awarded by the internationally recognised title of Effective user of the CAF model. For SNL it is a commitment to achieve continuous improvement of its processes and activities. The title is valid for two years.

In May 2025, they launched a second round of implementation of the CAF model to further enhance their performance. The focus is on optimising management and improving service delivery. The new CAF team will conduct a detailed analysis of SNL’s performance based on the CAF model criteria of the CAF model. Their work will result in a comprehensive self-assessment report. This report will be the basis for defining an improvement plan and implementing specific quality improvement measures.
