Sweden to host Open Science conference

On 16–17 May, Sweden invites you to “Open Science – from Policy to Practice”, a conference highlighting different perspectives of shaping, implementing and embedding Open Science in and beyond the European Union.

Join policy makers, researchers, practitioners and stakeholders from across Europe, to exchange knowledge, share best practices and to discuss how Open Science can contribute to strengthening sustainable futures and democracies.

Key aspects to implementing Open Access will be discussed – among them:

  • access to, and sharing of research results and data
  • the understanding of, and engagement in research
  • direct involvement of stakeholders and citizens in the research process.

The conference will take place at the National Library of Sweden (16 May) and the Swedish Museum of Natural History (17 May), as well as online.
