The Skills and Knowledge Exchange Bursary offers staff of CENL member libraries a unique opportunity to expand their expertise, share best practices, and build valuable connections across Europe’s national libraries. With up to €1,500 per application and some bursaries still available for 2026, now is the perfect time to take advantage of this exciting program!

How Can You Use the Bursary?

The funding supports a wide range of collaborative learning activities, including:

• Face-to-Face Mentoring & Shadowing – Spend time at another CENL member library, learn from experts, and exchange insights through hands-on mentoring.
• Training Events – Attend workshops, seminars, or conferences organized by CENL members to deepen your knowledge.
• Host Your Own Workshop – Share your expertise by leading a session on best practices for fellow members.
• Webinars & Online Events – Organize a virtual event to facilitate knowledge exchange across the CENL network.

Are You Eligible?

To apply, make sure you meet these criteria:

• Your employer is a CENL member.
• Your proposed activity involves other CENL members and focuses on skills or knowledge exchange.
• Your library can receive a maximum of two bursaries per 12-month period.
