The Literary Fund’s Section for Scientific and Specialist Literature and Computer Programmes has recognised the best works in the field of scientific and specialist literature for the year 2025.

Colleagues from the Slovak National Library, Martin Baloga and Daniela Škulová, received the 2025 prize for scientific and specialist literature in the humanities category for their works The Cultural Heritage of Incunabula (The Slovak National Library’s Incunabula Collection) and Catalogue of the Slovak National Library’s Incunabula Collection. Both books were published in 2025 by Publishing Department of the Slovak National Library.

The monograph The Cultural Heritage of Incunabula (link to: https://publikacie.snk.sk/produkt/kulturne-dedicstvo-inkunabul-fond-inkunabul-snk/) presents the rarest printed documents held at the Slovak National Library.

The Catalogue of the Incunabula Collection of the Slovak National Library (please link: https://publikacie.snk.sk/produkt/katalog-fondu-inkunabul-snk/) is a 320-page publication offering a unique insight into one of the SNK’s most significant collections.
