Among other topics, the EC reviewed the applications for Network Groups and came to a decision. We are pleased to announce that all four applications have been accepted.
Starting in 2026, CENL will have four Network Groups: The Artificial Intelligence in Libraries Network Group, the Books and Audiences Network Group, and the Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Network Group will be able to continue their valuable work. Additionally, the EC agreed to accept the application for a new National Libraries’ User Spaces and Services (NLUSS) Network Group.

We wish all the Network Groups, both existing and new, every success, and we look forward to working with them.

Another highlight of the meeting was the planning for the CENL Annual General Meeting 2026 in Luxembourg, which will mark the 40th anniversary of CENL under the forward-looking theme “Commemorating the Future.”

A heartfelt thank you to our generous hosts for their warm hospitality and for providing such an inspiring setting for our discussions.
