Drones, mines and values-based realism – these and many other elements of Finnish security policy were the focus of a recent thematic web harvest for the Finnish Web Archive.

The web harvest focused on Finnish security policy in 2025, a key year for developments in this field. After Russia launched its war of aggression against Ukraine in 2022 and Finland joined NATO the following year, Finland’s security policy situation changed fundamentally. Shifts in power politics have reshaped the European security environment, and the thematic harvest was designed to analyse how these changes affect Finland.
