Announcing the First International Conference on Cultural Heritage on Innovation, Sustainability and Legal Frameworks for Preservation and Engagement from 29–30 September 2025 in Skopje, North Macedonia.

The National and University Library St. Clement of Ohrid – Skopje is proud to host the First International Conference on Cultural Heritage this fall.

This landmark gathering will unite experts from over 20 countries, alongside representatives from UNESCO, IFLA, Blue Shield, national libraries, and Macedonian institutions dedicated to heritage preservation. Together, they will create a vibrant platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation.

Conference themes include:
Innovative Approaches – exploring technologies and methods transforming conservation and public access.
Sustainability in Cultural Heritage – strategies to safeguard cultural assets for future generations.
Legal and Policy Frameworks – examining laws, intellectual property, and international cooperation in preservation.
