During the French President’s state visit to the Republic of Korea on 2 and 3 April, the President of the National Library France (BnF) signed an agreement with his counterpart at the National Library of Korea in the presence of the French and South Korean Ministers of Culture.

This partnership promotes the joint organisation of professional exchanges and cultural and scientific events aimed at showcasing the collections. From October 2026, two staff members from the National Library of Korea will be hosted at the BnF to exchange ideas on the conservation and dissemination of digital items.
