On 22 May 2025, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) and National Library of Albania signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation.

With the Director of the National Library of Albania Piro Misha and NSK Director General Professor Ivanka Stričević acting as the signatories, the agreement’s signing was attended by the Deputy Director of Albania’s national library Majlinda Toçi Bami, the National Library Affairs Assistant to NSK Director General Dr Sofija Klarin Zadravec and NSK Library Advisor for International Cooperation Jagoda Ille.
